Gardens by the Bay is a park as vast as 101 hectares located at the back of Marina Bay Sands integrated resort. The park is divided into Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and the Bay Central Garden. The garden is said to bring balance of flora in the city-state. Quickly after opening, it has become popular to tourists as well as event organizers.
Bay Central Garden – is the area fronting the Bayfront MRT Station and the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort.
Bay East Garden – fronting Singapore Flyer
Bay South Garden – the biggest among the three.
There are two conservatories in the East Garden, the Cloud Forest and the Flower Dome. The conservatories are two structures where the temperature is being regulated.
Supertress – these are artificial tress towering the gardens. It is home to various ferns, vines, orchids and other aerial plants. It actually mimics some function of a real tree. It acts as an environmental engine of the garden. It absorbs solar energy from the sun use to light itself and the whole garden, help collects rain water for various purposes, etc. The tree during the night has a light and music show. There is also an elevated walkway, a connecting bridge between two of the larger trees for visitors to enjoy a panoramic view of the garden and rest of the city’s skyline.

How to Go?
Bayfront (Circle Line) MRT Station beneath MBS is the nearest MRT to date for easier access in the garden. According to authorities, by 2021, Gardens By The Bay MRT Station will already be operational. But why wait for that? Bayfront is pretty much a walking distance to the gardens. A bus service is also available via Bus 400 of SBS Transit. It actually passes along the Marina Gardens Drive. Taking a cab is also an option, but cab in SG is expensive. Be alert, don’t just hop, you might be riding on a Chrysler 300C or Mercedes-Benz Vitos.
